Poppy pods are PACKED with seeds! Once the pods have dried, I clip off the tops (sometimes called crowns) and pour the seeds into a container. I then dry the seeds on sheets of newspaper for 5 7 days. We grew the Giant Poppy Pods for the pods, not the short lived blooms.
